The School Development Plan (SDP) is a strategic plan for improvement. It brings together, in a clear and simple way, the school priorities, the main measures we will take to raise standards, the resources dedicated to these, and the key outcomes and targets we intend to achieve.
This is a summary of our objectives for 2021-22:
QUALITY OF EDUCATION
To ensure that all of our children make good progress and realise their full potential in phonics, in order to become successful readers and spellers/writers. To fully implement the new phonics programme in EYFS and KS1.
To ensure that teachers further refine the delivery of the planned content of the curriculum, in order to enable all learners to make at least expected progress in all subjects.

BEHAVIOUR AND ATTITUDES
To equip the children who struggle to self-regulate their emotions, with the necessary strategies and skills, in order to ensure that they make expected or better progress in all lessons and socialise successfully with their peers.
To celebrate our increasingly diverse demographic as a school, in order to ensure that our children are well equipped for life in Modern Britain and respect and celebrate difference.
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
To ensure that Continuing Professional Development is focused on developing teachers’ subject and pedagogical knowledge, enabling them to meet the needs of all learners in all subjects.
To ensure that expectations for leaders at all levels are clear, they understand their roles and responsibilities and carry these out effectively through rigorous monitoring to impact on outcomes. See also QUALITY OF EDUCATION
