Remote Education is a way of delivering the curriculum when the teacher is not present in the same location as the children. Our aim at St Nicholas, is to align remote education to what we provide in school, as far as we are able. Just like in the classroom, learning is carefully sequenced and children will obtain the building blocks they need to move onto the next step.
During a time of lockdown, school staff and families within our community have been courageous, ambitious and supportive of one another's determination to develop the best solution for meeting the varying needs of the children. As with learning in school, remote education will continue to develop as we learn and explore new ways of working.
