We can only move forward if we move forward together, working in partnership for the best interests of your child.
In the first instance, if you have a question or a concern about your child, please speak to the Class Teacher. If you do not have an opportunity to them at the classroom door or school gate, please contact the Office on 01932 227744 or email email@example.com and we will pass on any messages.
We regularly ask for more formal parent feedback via surveys and questionnaires. We also host Parent Forums; informal meetings with the Headteacher to share ideas and views.
Ofsted has their own mechanism for gathering parent views and you can respond to that anonymously via their Parent View website at https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk/ but you will have to register an account. We would much rather though, that you came and spoke to us directly if you have a concern or an issue that you would like the school to try and resolve. If this is not dealt with as you would hope, there is a Complaints Policy where you can escalate your grievance.
From time to time, we conduct consultations with parents, such as one we held when the new Relationship and Sex Education programme was introduced in 2020. We repeated this in Autumn 2021, when the policy was due for review. These were opportunities for parents to talk to us about the education in place.
