St Nicholas Girls football team had their first match against Laleham primary school on Thursday 2nd February. The girls played exceptional well and showed fantastic teamwork. The girls created a lot of chances and shots on goal. The final score was 1 – 1 with a penalty scored by Issy S! Miss Bernath and Mrs Capes-King are extremely proud of you all.
Thanks
Mrs Capes-King and I were very impressed and proud of all the Year 5 children we took to represent St Nicholas at the Spelthorne school’s hockey tournament yesterday. They all showed teamwork, enthusiasm, dedication and perseverance throughout all of their 9 matches. We came 5th and 6th overall out of 9 teams competing. The afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and some of the children said:
William O ‘Are we going to play again next week?’
Thomas P “thank you for organising Miss Bernath it was so much fun!’
