Admissions for September 2025

For all queries regarding School Admissions please contact Mrs Begley, our Admission Officer who be happy to discuss  any queries or concerns you may have.  She can be contacted each day on 01932 227744,  by email info@stnicholas-shepperton.surrey.sch.uk or please feel welcome to pop into the school office, which is open from 8.30am-4.30pm each day.

Reception Admissions

 

Primary School offers will be communicated on 16th April 2025 by email from the Local Authority. 

Our Admission Policy can be viewed below and also answers some frequently asked questions.

 

When can I apply?

The online application process is open from 4th November 2024 and closes on 15th January 2025. 

 

Where do I apply?

 www.surreycc.gov.uk/admissions

We also have our own supplementary form to complete and this can be accessed via this website or the school office.

 

When will I hear if my child has a place?        

Surrey County Council will inform you by 16th April 2025. 

 

Can I appeal?                       

Information will be given in the letter you receive from Surrey County Council explaining the procedure for appeals. You should contact us in the first instance should you wish to make an appeal.  We then liaise with Surrey County Council who will forward an appeals pack to you.  The deadline for appeals is 20th May 2025.  Hearings will take place from June 2025 (within 40 school days).

 

Can I look around the school before I decide?

Enquiries regarding in-year applications should be made direct to Surrey County Council using this link:

Parents will be advised of the outcome of an in-year application within 10 school days but within a maximum of 15 school days. Parents have the right of appeal and details are on the Surrey County Council website, please see this link for further information:

NB: Appeals will not start being heard until after the relevant closing date has passed.

 

Appeals lodged after these dates will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline or 30 school days of being lodged, whichever is the later date.

 

Appellants will be sent notification of their appeal hearing at least 10 clear working school days in advance of the hearing.  Appellants will be sent a copy of the school's case 7 clear working days in advance of the hearing.

 

Appellants must ensure that any further evidence not included with their initial appeal, is received by 5pm on the day preceding three clear working days.  Any additional evidence or information received after this day might not be considered at the appeal hearing.

Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
