Teaching and Learning Assistant


We are a large, popular primary school in the heart of Shepperton Village.  Staff are friendly and supportive of one another.  This makes St Nicholas a really great place for children to learn and grow.


We are looking for a teaching assistant to support the children with their learning.  The candidate should be calm and caring and able to make a dedicated contribution to sensitively supporting children’s needs.  Initially, the role will involve working within Key Stage 2.


The position is to work for 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm,

38.6 weeks of the year (term time plus 3 INSET days).


This position will be paid at Surrey Pay Grade 3 FTE £16,334 (actual salary is £12,441).

Working Pattern         Full Time         35 hours per week (6a.m. – 1.30p.m.)

We are a large, popular school with fabulous buildings and grounds.  The staff team care for and support one another and are dedicated to working together to meet the needs of the children, their education and welfare.  The Governors wish to appoint a Site Supervisor to join this friendly team, someone who is motivated and approachable, as well as being committed to providing a safe, clean and secure environment for the school community.


The Site Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance and good working order of the school. We would like someone who is flexible, proactive, really enjoys working with people, and who cares about the needs of children.
