The Quality of Teaching, Learning and Assessment

 

  • To implement teaching and learning strategies agreed by the school and according to Mastery approaches to Mathematics and for this to have a positive outcome on mastery standards for ALL pupils.
  • ​For spoken language and listening skills to be as high as reading and writing for all learners across all subjects
  • To continue tracking progress of ALL subjects against end of year expectations for ALL pupils (Boys, Girls, Disadvantaged, SEND) and bring Science  and Religious Education racking in line with other core subjects.

 

The Effectiveness of the Early Years Provision

 

  • To expand the outdoor space to extend the Forest Schools provision and creative curriculum.

     

    Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare

 

  • Where children do not make expected progress, to improve their behaviour for learning i.e. concentration and resilience.

 

The Effectiveness of Leadership and Management

 

  • To deepen children’s knowledge of the world’s diversity and promote more opportunities for children to debate and think more deeply about the world around them.

  • To strengthen children’s emotional wellbeing and spirituality by providing more opportunities to be still, silent and reflective.

  • To take a leading role in raising national standards through sharing good practice with other schools
